What's New at The FloorBoard Online

   It's been quite awhile since the economy tanked and our industry fell apart. As the owner of a workroom, I've received tons of calls from installers looking for work, but was having trouble just keeping my crews busy. Months have passed with little or no work to speak of, then all of a sudden I start receiving some calls from old & new customers. After selling a few jobs I went to schedule them with my loyal but since departed installers. As I called one after another I found that they were all busy with several new accounts & were booked on average 2 weeks in advance. I managed to get the jobs installed & things are still very part time for me but maybe it's a sign of change.

I think it took a lot of time for most people to adjust to the current economy and there personnel changes in work and income, but are maybe now feeling a little more comfortable as well as cautious with spending money where they need to. The real estate professionals claim that the market has hit bottom and has no were to go but up. With everyone searching and waiting for deals, we all need to reinvent and adjust our business practices and prices.

Your new site is exciting. Many times I've had the opportunity to join something new and didn't because it was new. I once turned down a job with what is now a 100 million dollar organization because it was new. Never again and Thank you for the opportunity to be an early participant.
